Hillrise Stonework are offering an exciting opportunity to learn the ins and outs of Dry Stone Walling over a 2-day course held at Whitehill Quarry. At Whitehill Quarry we offer a hands-on beginners courses, led by highly skilled and experienced professional members of the Dry Stone Walling Association. Whether you just want to have a go at something completely new, develop your skills towards a qualification or get your hand in to rebuild your garden wall, our instructors teach the basics to small groups of trainees over two days. Our courses run throughout the year, but not in inclement weather. We can also arrange sessions as part of a team building challenge or corporate activity day. What you will find at Whitehill is enjoyment in being outside in the fresh air, discovery of new skills and the satisfaction of knowing you have helped to conserve one of the country’s most important landscapes for future generations.
